Accounting Manager at Firmenich in Piscataway, NJ

We have an exciting opportunity for a career minded Accounting Manager to join our Accounting Team based in our Piscataway, New Jersey location. The successful candidate will bring their expertise and experience to perform the following:
Essential
Responsibilities:
o Complete in a timely and accurate manner, month end closing and reporting functions, including generation of monthly financial package and upload of data into SAPBPC as prescribed by corporate protocols. o Prepare and conduct analysis of monthly financial statement package in accordance with corporate SOP, including compliance with GAAP and/or IFRS. o Ensure all ledger transactions are properly recorded and analyzed o Preparation of information related to annual and interim financial statement audit requests, including interim and year end audit schedules and information requests from external audit firm. o Maintain Microsoft GP system functionality and administration. o Ensure compliance with monthly internal control reporting metrics o Provide support for budget and LE processes. o Produce ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. o Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. o Collaborate with the internal team to identify and improve efficiency of procedures o Participate in special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
o Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years experience in a public or private accounting, manufacturing experience a plus o CPA is highly desired o Must have knowledge and good understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS Accounting Standards o Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking, working independently, and remotely requires good organization to meet deadlines. o Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills o Excellent computer skills including Windows-based applications, Teams, Excel is a must, SAPBPC desired. $100K -- $150K
