Our Piscataway branch is looking for a new Customs Compliance Coordinator to join our Contract Logistics team.
YOUR ROLEYou will ensure that all incoming goods comply with customs regulations.
You will work with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure shipments are delivered on time and without issue.
This is onsite role and you will report to Export ManagerYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will manage department mailboxes and email correspondence with important partners, both internal and external, to support Vendor, Logistics and Retail Operations You will respond to requests for documentation or information about Partner Government Agencies (FDA, FWS), avoiding clearance delays and delivery changes You will manage requests and obtain new product information to ensure accurate and timely HTS classification for our 3rd party trade consultants Support database maintenance and upload of product HTS classification You will Review CITES documentation to ensure 100% compliance with FWS regulations You will create trade compliance reports for post-entry analysis and help with audits YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Import & Export requirements for international shipping Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and SAP Experience in AS400 or any WMS 1-3 years of experience in Import/ Export, Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, or related field Proficient in Data Entry Skills GOOD REASON TO JOINWe offer a great compensation package, medical, dental, and retirement benefits package, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, excellent training programs and a dynamic global work environment.
