Job DetailsJob Type Full-timeThe Director, Investor Relations will develop and execute an IR strategy that promotes the business objectives of MaxCyte.
The Director, Investor Relations partners with senior leadership across the organization to articulate a compelling and applicable message to the market in an effort to drive value creation.
The incumbent understands and explains the company's key scientific and technical differentiators and goals in order to most effectively message the MaxCyte message to the financial community.
Works under general direction.
Develops and executes the IR strategy and related communications program to enhance the perception, awareness, and visibility of MaxCyte within the investment and biotechnology/pharmaceutical communities Develops, implements, and manages a strategic plan for MaxCyte's short-term and long-term investor relations strategy Leads the planning and development of IR content, in collaboration with colleagues to create key announcements and disclosures, and quarterly financial results conference calls with a focus on product development and strategy Creates and manages all IR core materials including:
review and approval of corporate presentations, press releases, conference call scripts and Question and Answer documents Provides practical and meaningful Investor Relations support to management, including counseling and advising executives regarding investor events Creates and develops IR market reports for Board Meetings, to include:
capital markets analysis, consensus building, shareholder update and upcoming schedules Ensures timely input, participation, and internal alignment in highly complex IR strategies and activities Collaborates closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure a consistent message on branding and strategy Tracks the models utilized by analysts to value/evaluate the company's performance (i.
e.
, trends, earnings per share, return on equity, etc.
) and communicates this information to Senior Management and other key internal constituents Provides Regulation Fair Disclosure training to all appropriate company spokespersons Develops and maintains relationships with the wall street community including analysts and institutional investors Acts as a corporate liaison to institutional investors and analysts; and collaborate internally and externally to deliver functional and corporate goals Provides accurate, consistent, and timely responses to inquiries from investors and analysts; anticipates potential inquiries and objections from external parties Complies with all applicable policies regarding health, safety, and the environment Requirements BA/BS in business or scientific area required and 8-10 years of leadership experience and at least 8 years of experience in investor relations or related area; MBA or MD/PhD or other technical degree is a plus Demonstrated understanding of the biotechnology industry (pharmaceutical or biotech) experience is essential Outstanding communication skills and experience delivering clear messaging of scientific and clinical topics, as well as financial data, across a variety of audiences Demonstrated resourcefulness, judgment, tact, and flexibility required Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline line driven environment Ability to interact with senior management and manage the communication of sensitive and confidential information Knowledge of SEC regulatory requirements and disclosures Product launch experience in a publicly traded company is strongly preferred Proven ability to maintain and grow relationships with the investment community Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work with others and integrate him/herself smoothly into the broader organization Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
