This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment Ability to work on-call as needed Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or GED.
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Must be eligible to work in Piscataway, NJ.
Duties include:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, using hand tools and test equipment.
Perform basic plumbing tasks such as line testing, clogging, repairing faucets, etc.
Install electrical wiring fixtures (including transformers, switches, etc.
)and run power lines.
Install industrial controls and devices including solenoids, actuators, etc.
Install industrial control panels, instrumentation and other equipment.
