We are looking for a candidate with a deep understanding of Asset Management that spans the Network and Finance domains of a telecommunications company or an asset intensive services industry. That candidate will be expected to identify how the existing Common Language products can be positioned with Audit Companies as part of a broad Fixed Asset Management offer that will embed Common Language as the information infrastructure of choice.
The candidate must have hands-on experience with undertaking activities that ensures the Fixed Asset Registers maintains an accurate view of the company's assets. Knowledge of the ERP systems, the management of assets as well as processes for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of fixed assets is critical, as well as an understanding of the various methods for tracking fixed assets. Understanding of underlying network technology and network equipment will be important and an understanding of GAAP, IFRS and typical regulatory domain requirements would be beneficial.
The person must be self-motivated and be keen to research new trends in asset management. Excellent client facing and communication skills are vital for this role as well as the ability to travel internationally. Candidate will also have responsibility for assisting in the development of offers and value proposition appropriate for audit partners and carriers.
The individual is expected to achieve this by playing a major role in the development and positioning of our products and activities that will ensure Audit Companies utilize our Common Language products in support of their broader asset management consulting activities. At the same time the consultant should stay current with relevant ERP, Financial and Operation Support System activities to understand their evolution and interrelationship in order to realize seamless inventory and asset management.
The candidate should be familiar with the development of key customer inventory and asset management initiatives, the challenges of updating and implementing common data models across an organization to align asset views and overall challenges of achieving coordinated asset management so that field, inventory and financial views are aligned. Specifically the candidate would:
Develop value proposition and compelling positions
Develop effect collaborations with Audit partners to insure Common Language products are included as part of their offer
Identify areas where Common Language products can be used within the Procurement and Financial domains of a company and the associated challenges
Identify areas where Common Language products additions/updates may be warranted to address a broader or unmet set of needs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate is expected to have a University degree in Finance/Economic or Engineering / ICT. In addition, the candidate would have a proven track record of achieving results (3-5 years) in the area of services focused on Fixed Asset Management and support.
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems
Ability to relate the asset information requirements of the Finance Organization with those of the Network OrganizationGeneral knowledge of telecommunications regulatory requirements for fixed assets
Ability to identify value proposition for the adoption of common language to meet specific deficiencies within an operator
Ability to interface with both technology and financial counterparts within a customer/partner environment
Ability to work in team settings with competitors and customers
TRAVEL : Some foreign travel is likely to be required
